Want to experience storytelling? There are various clubs and organisations in Wales which organise storytelling performances, story circles and other storytelling activities and events which you can attend as an audience member or take part in.

Below is a list of some of these organisations – we hope you find something stimulating and enjoyable. Please note that this not a comprehensive list and the organisations listed are independent from BtB.

Milgis In Cardiff

On the 3rd Tuesday of every month, a rich mix of stories and music in the intimate atmosphere of Milgi’s beautiful backyard yurt. More info

Kemis Storytelling Suppers

Storytelling Suppers at Kemi’s with fine food and wonderful tales from around the world. Thursday evenings, once a month, at Kemi’s in Pontcanna, Cardiff More info 

Caffi Stori Llangollen Storytelling Cafe

Carmarthen Storytelling

Tales from the Lost Arcade, Cardigan

A joint venture between Tenby and Aberystwyth Storytelling Clubs. Designed to give visiting storytellers an extra show when they visit west Wales, and to offer local storytellers an opportunity to tell in a friendly environment which sells foraged food and upcycled clothes. No fixed date, usually around the same time as the Tenby or Aberystwyth club, door charge varies, and the venue supply delicious food.
