Following the great success of
the 2007 festival, we have decided to make Beyond
The Border a bi-ennial festival, which means that the next one will take place
in 2009, on 3/4/5 July.

of the 2009 festival, including who’s appearing and how and when to buy tickets.

HOWEVER.....
BEYOND THE BORDER NOW UNDER THREAT!!!!!
You may have heard in the media that The Arts
Council of Wales (ACW) is proposing to cut the annual grant to St Donats Arts
Centre, home of Beyond The Border Wales International Storytelling Festival.
Unless we can reverse the Arts Council of Wales’ decision, it
could result in the loss of both:
St Donats Arts Centre, a unique and beautifully situated
rural centre for the arts, serving people in the Vale of Glamorgan, the UK and
abroad,
and Beyond The Border, Wales’
International Storytelling Festival, the only one of its kind in Wales and the
largest in the UK.
You can help us save both this unique arts centre and
Wales’ International Storytelling Festival, including our education
and touring work throughout Wales, by:
