Every year Beyond the Border is staffed by a dedicated team of Stewards – who work a number of shifts over the weekend in turn for a free Weekend Camping ticket to the festival. Tasks include venue stewarding, site patrols, car park, and traffic management duties. It can be a really rewarding way to enjoy the festival, and a keen, confident team of stewards is crucial to us in making the event a success.

If you travel by train, we can arrange to pick you up from Llantwit Major station if you let us know your planned arrival time up to a week in advance.
Please note that though we request a deposit cheque, we do NOT cash this unless you fail to show up without letting us know that you can’t make your shifts (it’s why we use cheques not cards). If you are without a UK bank account with cheque book, just drop us an email to volunteers@beyondtheborder.com and we will work something out.
