Sally Pomme Clayton

Sat 8.00-10.00 Tythe Barn
Sun 1.00-2.00, 4.00-5.00 Little Tent

One of the great pioneers of performance storytelling in Britain, over the last 30 years Sally Pomme Clayton has created a unique and extraordinarily varied body of work, writing and performing stories for everyone from The London Gypsy Orchestra to The London Philharmonic Orchestra, The British Museum to The British Council;

On Saturday she storms the Tythe Barn with The Frog Princess Punked – a hybrid hullabaloo of spoken word, distorted guitars, scorching drums, and poetic riffs, all set in a shifting collage of fragmented images and film v-jayed live.

In total contrast, on Sunday she performs the story from her latest children’s book  The King With Dirty Feet, – a magical interactive show for 5-7 year-olds with musical sounds, actions, and some teeny tiny shoes.
