One of the leading lights of UK Storytelling, co-founder in the early 80’s of highly influential Company of Storytellers (with Sally Pomme Clayton and Ben Haggarty), winner with Daniel Morden of the 2006 Classical Association Prize for ‘the most significant contribution to the public understanding of the classics’.

Hugh Lupton launches our exploration of Welsh Myth cycle the Mabinogion on Saturday morning as he talks about and tells stories from his novel ‘The Assembly of The Severed Head’, with Daniel Morden and Prof. Sioned Davies.

And on Saturday night, as part of our Mediterranean Migrations programme, Hugh and Daniel retell the epic story of The Odyssey, the timeless tale of a sea traveller’s attempts to reach safety and be reunited with his family.
