Celebrate 200 years of Grimm´s Fairy Tales with performers from across Europe, including storytelling and circus from Switzerland, storytelling and puppetry from Munich, and our specially commissioned revival of the acclaimed The Three Snake Leaves by UK´s Company of Storytellers (Ben Haggarty, Sally Pomme Clayton, Hugh Lupton).
Journey with us along the Silk Road and meet epic singers and musicians representing the ancient traditions of Persia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Explore the Myths and Legends of Celtic Britain, including a beautiful new commission of the stories of Welsh warrior princesses and goddesses from storyteller/singer Esyllt Harker.
Dip into performances under the themes of Tales to Sustain and Stories for Health and hear an extraordinary eye witness account of the 1912 Sinking of the Titanic retold by US storyteller Pam Faro.
At the end of the evenings, dance into a festival frenzy with Transglobal Underground and klezmer band She’koyokh.
