many training programmes both in
the UK and internationally.
To coincide with Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Romeo & Juliet in the Main House, master storyteller Richard Berry joins Japanese koto player Hiroko Sue for a performance in words of music of the original Romeo & Juliet story, together with other tales of romance, passion and intrigue…… 
One of the new wave of Irish storytellers brings her dynamic voice to the WMC’s Glanfa Stage. Clare has told tales all over the world from London's Globe Theatre to Singapore's Esplanade Theatre. Her tales range from the rowdy ancient myths of Ireland to the raucous folktales of Europe and beyond. Her distinct physical style engages audiences of all ages. 
The Green Man of No Man's Land is a delightful combination of music, sound and story. These long- forgotten tales are brought to life again thanks to Daniel's scintillating storytelling and Oli's fantastic fiddling. Expect moments of high drama and low comedy!. The Green Man of No Man's Land was commissioned by Festival at the Edge 2007.
Raised amongst musicians and myth-makers, RRR is a storyteller from London, and a previous winner of the UK Young Storyteller of the Year Award. Her unique style has brought her acclaim at international festivals and venues including The Barbican, The London Literary Festival, Burning Man, Latitude and the Soho Theatre. Her debut show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 'And They Lived...' was declared a "smash hit" by BBC Radio 2.
Making his first appearance at the Millennium Centre, Mats Rehnman is one of the leading storytellers in Sweden, with a wide repertoire of tales drawn from both international tradition, as well as his own Scandinavian and Sami lore. He delights in weaving together myth with personal real life stories to create a magical experience for the audience.
